This year Decades is supporting the Kimel Family Centre for Brain Health and Wellness Baycrest is leading a global shift — from treating dementia to preventing it.
Through the Kimel Family Centre, Baycrest is translating breakthrough science into personalized programs that help people strengthen brain health today and reduce dementia risk for the future.
The need is urgent. By 2050, 1.7 million Canadians will be living with dementia. Yet even small delays in onset can have a profound impact — preventing hundreds of thousands, even millions, of cases.
Prevention is the greatest opportunity to change the future of brain health — and Baycrest is showing what’s possible.
